Good morning and Happy Labor Day to our US friends!
Wanted to check in with a progress report as we prepare to close out our first week on Kickstarter. So far, ONE-SHOT has raised $3,100 and we owe a huge thanks to our 87 backers for helping us get this far. Crowdfunding data reveals that most successful campaigns get as close as possible to 50% of the total goal by the end of the first week. We've got a little under $300 for us to reach that point, so please continue sharing the link and telling folks about our project. Every little bit goes a long way to getting us across the finish line.
To help us get a little closer, I'm announcing the first giveaway for the campaign. Once we reach 100 pledges, our backers will be entered into a raffle to win a prize pack of signed copies of my previous comics, Hallowed North #1 & 2!
That's all I have for now, but be sure to stick around for some other Kickstarters I recommend you check out. I appreciate all of your efforts in helping us get to this point, and I thank you in advance for your continued support. We're almost halfway there. Let's do this, yeah?

The Death Tally #1-4
When Ahva accidentally kills the Reaper, she is suddenly forced to become the new one. As it turns out, life and death isn't quite turning out how she assumed it would.
As Ahva is further immersed in this strange new world, she finds herself charged with the impossible task of keeping balance by ending the lives of a set number of humans daily. Is it worth it if the alternative is an apocalyptic future?
ALWAYS THE SAME STORY - Issue #1
Always The Same Story is a new comic series with a simple premise; each creative team is given the same prompt and must then create a unique story using their own specific skills and styles.
For issue #1, the prompt is "memory". Any character in the story must deal with a lapse in memory. It's up to the creators to tell us what they are forgetting and how they remember (or if they remember). This issue, there will be 28 different stories told by 28 different teams of creatives. Each team will have one page to tell their own unique story that explores the theme of the issue and really showcases their own talents.
